Dedicated to all the DJs that read this blog.

I really like this tune, find it very catchy, but I don't like her (Kesha) and her videos, so enjoy this funny Simpsons' version.

Service note to the DJs, don't be rude and ban your buddies only because they said that they like Justin Bieber, they haven't said that they are his fans after all. :D

I love my washing machine.

This may sound a bit over the top, but it's true.
There is no better way to find out how much you appreciate something, than when you miss it.
Today my dearest and only washing machine got sick.
Hubby and I did our best to find and solve the problem, which meant to bend on our knees for hours in puddles of soapy water.
What are you saying? Calling an expert? Ahem....well first it's Sunday ;)
However, apparently we did something right, and it's working now.
Hubby even dared to suggest that I could wash the clothes by hand, is he crazy or what?
You tell me.
At the end, when the machine was completing the cycle (Thanks, oh thanks!), I was there cherishing her, telling sweet words, my good girl.
She always does a hard work, and I take her for granted.
Wish me good luck ( I have loads and loads to wash....always ).

Merlin episode.

Today I watched this episode of Merlin, and since it was funny I thought to share it with you.
Just to have some laughter.
But mind, it's 43 minutes.

A hero lies in you.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
Did I say beautiful?
And inspiring.

Mariah Carey - Hero (Official Music Video). Watch more top selected videos about: Hero, Mariah Carey

There's a hero If you look inside your heart You don't have to be afraid Of what you are There's an answer If you reach into your soul And the sorrow that you know Will melt away

And then a hero comes along With the strength to carry on And you cast your fears aside And you know you can survive So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you

It's a long road When you face the world alone No one reaches out a hand For you to hold You can find love If you search within yourself And the emptiness you felt Will disappear

And then a hero comes along With the strength to carry on And you cast your fears aside And you know you can survive So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you

Lord knows Dreams are hard to follow But don't let anyone Tear them away Hold on There will be tomorrow In time You'll find the way

And then a hero comes along With the strength to carry on And you cast your fears aside And you know you can survive So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you

So big.

I think this song is lovely and sweet, and it's in tune with how I feel lately...full of love.
I don't like the original video so much, I just prefer this one with lyrics, hence enjoy.

Benefits of yoga till now.

No, I'm not able to do the full wheel yet, but I want to share the benefits that I had from yoga, for you who don't practice it.
Increased agility.
Better posture.
Increased self confidence.
Increased energy, of every kind ;)
Summarizing it all, I feel great, so thumbs up for yoga.

I'm so full of love....

.....for you my buddies!
I want to thank you for being my bloggy friends.
I want to let you know how important for me is to share my thoughts, and to read yours.
And to exchange insight, experiences and affection.
Thank you for being you.

Ok, now if you think that I'm silly and naive, well probably I am ;)

I don't 'speak holidays'.

What is a tradition? It's something that someone else set up long ago, and you keep on performing ...even if you don't want to.
But how do you know that you don't want it, if you don't even question it?
Some people are so used to behave in certain ways, that they don't even ask themselves if they like what they do. Or if they do it because everybody is doing it.
I do enjoy staying at home from work during holidays, but I don't like 'to have' to decorate, to have to buy gifts, to have to bake, to have to...to have to...
That's why on my blog I don't talk about Christmas, Halloween, etc...etc...
I don't like to celebrate in the usual way (or sometimes I do, but only sometimes), I do try to celebrate and enjoy every single moment of my life.
So, now for always, I wish you a merry everyday :D

P.s.: one more thing that I don't like about 'Christmas' stereotype' is that  we should be more gentle, and generous...what? I think we should be like this all year long, shouldn't we?
P.p.s.: not to mention the fact that Christmas how we know it, it's probably of pagan origin, I googled it and I found some disconcerting historical facts.
P.p.p.s: and what about Santa's lie?
P.p.p.p.s.: want to talk about celebrating ghosts, evil, monsters....?
Ok, I shut up now.

I really am ruggedly handsome, aren't I?

I just love this gag from Castle:

It's beautiful when you look at yourself in the mirror and you like what you see.
Not because you are perfect or correspond to some stereotypes imposed by society, but just because you recognize your own unique beauty.
And yet you don't take it seriously.
An healthy, light and funny self-esteem is very attractive, isn't it?
How do you like yourself?
And what is the female equivalent for ruggedly handsome?

I loved my first poll.

That means I'll do it again, one day or another...it's a threat.
So the majority of people voted for an answer in the comment form, two don't care, and two would like a mail.
Now if the two who want a mail would take a step forward.... or raise their hand.... anyhow get out from anonimity, I'll do it.
I'm that nice ;)
Ah the beauty of having only a few comments!

To answer or not to answer, this is the question.

No actually it's not.
One of my bloggy buddies asked me how I prefer that she answers to my comments, personally ( I have enabled my mail in my profile ) or in the comments form.
I have no preferences, I don't sign for follow up, because most of you have tons of comments (jealous?...nah!), and I don't want to fill my inbox with them :D
If I comment usually come back to see if there is an answer, unless I know that you don't answer.
However to make it short ;), I put a poll in my right sidebar about this topic.
I'll be glad if you vote, thaaaaannnkks!
Speak your minds dudes :))))))
Have I ever said how much I love to hear from you???

A book pro pedophile, are we crazy?

I read some posts in various blogs, saying that Amazon is selling an e-book that helps pedophile in doing better their 'job'.
How can someone even make and sell a criminal book?
I'm astonished, no, worse.
Here's the link to a Fox News' article.
I think it's right to boycott Amazon, don't you?

Update, the news says Amazon removed the book, but still I don't like that they did it only after the great pressures.

How to eat spaghetti the Italian way.

Since a lot of not Italian people have difficulties in eating spaghetti the right way, I've found a funny video that explains how to.
It needs a little practice but it's easier than it seems.
You're welcome ;)

Boys if I'm out of shape! What's a shape at all?

'Yoga per tutti' means Yoga for everybody, just so you know.
A couple of weeks ago I was strolling along the books' aisle of our supermarket, not that we own the supermarket, it's at the street corner.
However I pass by and this book looks at me, or I should say I look at it for a moment, but then I ignore it.
The second time I note it again, I open it, then I think, why to buy it, on You Tube I can find whatever yoga exercise I want.
The third time I buy it.
I tell you, it was staring at me.
No, I'm not mad, I'm kidding.
However I start doing the positions (asanas). My! if I was (am) stiff, years and years of neglecting my body, haven't done any good.
I admit it but now I'm doing something, and I feel better and stronger and more flexible, I'm improving each day.
When I can do the full wheel I'll let you know ;)

Carrot almond cake, half a success, no recipe.

Obviously I can't share any recipe, since the cake wasn't the best ever.
Why do I say it?...
Let's investigate!
a) my daughter said... hmm I don't like it so much.
b) my son didn't eat it at all (but he never does)
c) hubby said...unusual but eatable
d) I thought...the taste is good but it's too moist
Let's start from the beginning, I was a teenager...too far?
...I remember my mum did a carrot almond cake and it was delicious, fluffy and moist.
She did it only once but I still remember it, so I guess it was really good, unless my memory betrays me.
(No, it doesn't).
So today I decided to make it, I googled the recipe, but do you know how many carrot cake recipes are there?
Let me tell you, way too many.
However I found one that inspired me and did it.
If you know me, you also know that I don't like long posts, so I come to the point.
I didn't have the whisk to whip up egg whites, I used the food processor instead, but they didn't come well firm, that's why I presume it wasn't so fluffy.
After shredding carrots, I didn't squeeze out all the juice, that's why it was too moist, here I'm pretty sure.
Hence, my fault.
Moral of the story, always follow the recipe carefully, especially if you've taken all the step by step pictures, to post on your own blog.
And today there wasn't even a good light, just saying.
Thanks for listening, and, if someone wants to come and tidy up my messy kitchen I'll be very grateful...
Volunteers? No?
P.s.: if you have a fabulous carrot almond cake recipe, please let me know.

I heard rumors that Katy Perry wanted so much to be featured on my blog.
So after a few weeks of self struggle, yes then no.... yes again, here she is.
The song is 'almost unknown', but I think it's funny, no?

What I'm doing.

If you are wondering why I'm not posting this week, it's not that I'm short of ideas, well, actually I had a good idea for a post, but it required a certain picture that I was not able to take.
Can you take pictures in places filled with people (not touristic places) without feeling uncomfortable?
So I had to put aside this thing for a while and wait the right moment.
What am I doing with my time, apart from having a family, working, keeping the house, doing laundry, etc...?
I'm watching Castle's episodes and reading and commenting on your blogs.

So keep on posting dudes ;)

If you liked this post, share it!
