When someone wants to come and see you.

May be doesn't know that you woke up at 6
and before 8 you already 'run the marathon' to bring your child at preschool.
When someone wants to come and see you
may be doesn't know that you came at home after work
and your house is a mess.
When someone wants to come and see you
may be doesn't care that your house is a mess
but still you care.
When someone wants to come and see you
may be doesn't know that you are so tired and want to rest
before doing laundry and tiding a bit
and helping with math, and preparing dinner.
May be doesn't know that after dinner you didn't do dishes
and they are still in the sink.
When someone wants to come and see you
probably expects some homemade cake.
When someone wants to come and see you
may be doesn't know that it would be better to invite you out
but probably you wouldn't want to go out either
because going out with small kids is not the best thing ever.
May be doesn't know that the only 'alone' time you have
is your blogging time.
May be doesn't know that being a mother sometimes sucks
because that someone ain't a mother.
( I think it's PMS coming, don't mind )

  7. And, when someone wants to come see you, they expect you to have put on real clothes and brushed your hair!

    Don't you just hate that?

  10. Like we can chat with the visitor staying outside?
Interesting idea Dona, even better a Skype session, no need to go out at all.

  11. Well, at least you warned us. We will tip toe quietly back to our cars, and vacate the premises. As we sit around the table at the local McDonald's, we will raise a cup of coffee to you and hope you will be feeling better soon.

  13. PMS or not, I completely understand how you feel. Some days just stink.

Have you noticed that non bloggers don't understand why we spend our along time online?

  14. yes - -non-moms are not held to as rigid a schedule and can just pop over here and there - and to think they were interfering with blogging time - for shame! ;-)
