My blog's policy.

I thought it was not necessary to write about it, but I saw and read something that made me change my mind.
So may be it's better to express my thoughts about this topic.
I, as a blogger, enjoy when people appreciate what I write (obviously), and comment about it, and may be follow me, but only if it is out of a total freedom, hopefully if it's really meant it.
I, personally don't follow blogs only because I want that they follow me, I read blogs that I really enjoy or that I find interesting.
And when I comment, I mean it, it is not because I have to.
It is true, that if you want to be known, and if you want to raise your readers, you have to visit and comment on other blogs, or join communities, as I did, however I want to stay true to myself, so I follow and comment only on blogs I really like.
So, now you know it, what do you think?
Thanks for listening.
After I wrote this I read my horoscope, here what it said:
"If you have to deal with groups of people or with the general public, you will advocate change and new policies".

  1. I totally agree with you. If I don't have anything to say about something I just dont day anything at all. I'm not much for commenting just because. I don't receive hundreds of comments but I'm not that interesting so I understand shy! LOL! Have a great week!

  2. I hope I did not sound to "preachy" on my blog today. I may have pissed some people off, but I really mean it. I do comment to people that comment to me. I have gone through all my followers and left a little message to all that I can reach (some people don't have the url directing to their blog)

I have followed on blogs, commented, and they never left any comments at my blog. I don't expect everyone to follow me or comment all the time. Personally if they don't have time for me...screw it. I un follow them. There are no blogs I can think of that I need to follow if they are not going to do the same.

Everyone has their own method of commenting and following. I do believe that building a little community is about sharing. Not me, me, me.

Blogging brings freedom of expression, and everyone has their own opinion or how it ought to be, and how they want to do it. There are no real rules for following, commenting or unfollowing. We are all in a sea of experimentation. We have own rules and govern our own site and blogs the way we want.

I enjoy your blog, that is why I come by and comment to your blog.

I hope you are not mad. If I hit some nerve I am sorry. I am only expressing my personal opinion.

I am at times bitchy and opinionated.

God Bless Darling! Have a great one! :)

  3. No, Kimberly, I'm not mad, and you didn't hit any nerve, this has been in my mind for a long time, but it's true that I wrote it because of your post.
I only wanted to declare "here" that I don't like following and commenting "only" out of courtesy, because I've seen it's a common thing around here.
Really, when I read on blogs, some comments that have no meaning, but "Hey, I've been here, I commented, now do the same", I ask me, what's the point?
However, we are all different, and that's the beauty of life.
    Have a great day too.

  4. Thank you Simply Sanborn for your opinion.
    Have a great week too.

  5. Your views and thoughts are straight forward, its hard to find a person who speaks out from heart. And your one of them dear:)

  6. I agree. Everyone does it their way, but to me commenting on a post just for the sake of leaving your "mark" there seems a little pointless to me. I would rather leave a meaningful comment on a post that I connect to than some one or two word comment on one that I don't... but that's just me.
