Guess who came at work with me today!
Yep! He, the famous, gorgeous, green guy, named Blogger the Frog, who decided to take a world tour, and after Mexico, and Haiti, flied to North Italy just to meet us.
Yay! I'm so honored!
Actually it was my friend Jen, over at 11th Heaven's Homemaking Haven who put in, a good word for me.
May be you are wondering why he is in my bag, oh it's so cold here now, almost 0 degrees Celsius (32°F), so just to stay warm.
Note the healthy crackers that are my midmorning snack ;)
Here he is assisting me with a spreadsheet, I know, I know, my desk is a bit messy, but I wanted to stay authentic, and show you that I actually work, and never ever blog hop, while at office, promise!
This is the supermarket where I have "metaphysical" conversations with my son.
Time to go downtown for a quick tour... some window shopping:
At the newsstand I had to buy a Gormits dvd for my 4 y-o model.
Good pals at the skating rink:
The main square:
I think he wants some cake at the baker's shop:
Typical old houses:
Next time, if you'll come during more warm and sunny days we will carry you at our beautiful lake side:
At some point during our tour my camera died (oops, I forgot to carry new batteries with us) so I had to opt for my daughter's cell phone camera, that has a bit less resolution.
If you want to know where is Blogger the Frog's next step in the world ( and where he's been ), visit Mommy's Camera blog.
Bye bye, see you soon!

One thing I cannot bear is my two kids fighting.
I usually try to help them resolve the problem, counting on the responsibility of the 12 y-o daughter.
This never worked.
Sometimes I tried to let them alone, hoping they will solve it.
Didn't work too.
This evening they were fighting as usual, and I was annoyed.... as usual.
I asked myself how could I help them to meet...
may be if I put myself against them both....?
So I scolded them, and threatened to punish them (didn't really thought what kind of punishment, fortunately they didn't ask) if they fight again, and I acted if I was a bit angrier of what I really was.
Do you know what they did?
After a silent while, they started to play and had fun together, serenely, without the slightest discussion, all the evening.
I hope your kids never fight, but now you know, just in case ;)

This is one of the best advices somebody gave to me, and I want to share it with you, my few but good readers ;).
When possible, I tend to avoid medicaments, trying to cure myself and my family with natural stuff, oils, herbs, energetic healing....and often succeed.
One day, talking with a lady about my son's conjunctivitis (pink eye), and complaining that I had to use drops, she told me: " don't you know that chamomile is great for it?"
So she explained to me, that I had to do a chamomile tea, let it cool, and apply on both eyes with two different cotton pads. Let it sit for a while, and do this two, three times a day ( with new pads, and always a different one for each eye, to not spread infection ).
I did it, and since then, I never used drops again.
Warning: I'm not a doctor, if you don't see an improvement in a day or so, or if you have an aggravation, check your doctor soon.

So may be it's better to express my thoughts about this topic.
I, as a blogger, enjoy when people appreciate what I write (obviously), and comment about it, and may be follow me, but only if it is out of a total freedom, hopefully if it's really meant it.
I, personally don't follow blogs only because I want that they follow me, I read blogs that I really enjoy or that I find interesting.
And when I comment, I mean it, it is not because I have to.
It is true, that if you want to be known, and if you want to raise your readers, you have to visit and comment on other blogs, or join communities, as I did, however I want to stay true to myself, so I follow and comment only on blogs I really like.
So, now you know it, what do you think?
Thanks for listening.
After I wrote this I read my horoscope, here what it said:
"If you have to deal with groups of people or with the general public, you will advocate change and new policies".

He: do you know mom? once I was a cat.
Me: When were you a cat, dear?
He: Last week.
He: yes, there was a ginormous cat, like The Hulk, you know mom?
He transformed me, like him.
Me: Ah, uhmmm, really?
He: yes, last week..... I dreamed, there was this enormous cat.........
Me: Ah, okay!

What do have in common, cameras and spices?
Nothing, but they have to do with some mistakes I did today, so I will tell you, just in case you want to learn from them.
First, today I saw two special things and I wish I had my camera with me, to remember and share them.
This morning, while walking with my son towards the kindergarten, I saw an amazing dawn with a crescent, it was soooo beautiful ( eh, eh, sorry! no camera available).
Then, in the afternoon, while waiting at the bus stop, I took a glance at the blue sky and I saw a small flock of birds flying in circle, like a carousel over a baby's crib, over and over, with the sun sparkling on their bellies, again I didn't have my camera.
( no, they weren't birds of prey )
What do you evince from that?
Better to have your camera with you, you don't know what can happen.
(Maybe you see a VIP and sell the shot ;)
Second...when you are convinced that the spice container is virtually empty, thus pouring the content carelessly...always check before, may be your husband had filled it.

# 1 - 12 year-old girl stylist wannabe.
Is there anyone out there, who would like to be her mentor?
...Armani?...Hmmm...maybe she's more Dolce & Gabbana-ish?
# 2 - an housekeeping "tip"
Don't leave your moist mop out, when the temperature is below zero, otherwise you'll obtain this:
