A conversation I've heard.

Sister to almost 4-year-old boy: where do we live?

Almost 4-year-old boy: at home!

Sister: where is it, "at home"?

Almost 4-year-old boy: here!

Sister: we live in Italy!

Almost 4-year-old boy: no! we live in English!

  4. Tania, thanks, I already follow yours ;-)
and Thank you girls for stopping by :-)

  5. Hah! That's a wonderful story. Kids are awesome in the way they use language and compartmentalize things to make better sense. My first husband lived in Turkey for a while and knew a little girl who was multi-lingual. He spoke Turkish, but his primary language was English, to the little girl would only address him in English and git frustrated when he'd speak Turkish. It didn't fit with the way she'd organized her relationships!

Thanks for following the newlywed blog!
